  • About

Amazanga is a nature sanctuary in the rainforest of Ecuador in the province of Napo. It is a place of connection with nature, conservation of native knowledge and a birthplace of sustainable and social projects for the indigenous kichwa nation and the Amazonian nature of the region. The main purpose of Amazanga (which in kichwa mythology is the jaguar-spirit that protects our mother jungle) is to restore the balance and harmony of human beings within ourselves and with everything surrounding us. We built this place to preserve, recover, and practice the ancient shamanic wisdom of the Amazon, to support native peoples and protect the natural environment. All of of this goes hand in hand. Amazanga is a holistic vision. Each pillar serves and nurtures the other and is part of the circle.
